About The Project
TC Architects is currently working with The Society on the design of two (2) new six-bedroom Intermediate Care Facilities in Medina County. The facilities are designed to feel as “home-like” as possible. In addition to the individual bedrooms, the facility has a large living room, four seasons room with storage, sensory room, kitchen with pantry, dining room, medical room, laundry, staff office, staff bathroom, and two (2) full-bathrooms with roll-in showers, one (1) with a seated tub. The facility has a partial basement and an attached garage for the van.
The buildings are designed so that it will be contextual with the surrounding neighborhood. They will have a covered entry / front porch and a covered patio for everyone to enjoy. The homes are also fully fire suppressed.
The site is designed so that the parking is in the rear of the building and there is enough room for large van parking. A dedicated drop-off and pick-up spot is adjacent to the main entry for the safety and convenience of the residents.
