About The Project
TC Architects just completed working with Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority (MMHA) and CHN Housing Partners to design a new Low Income Tax Credit Workforce Development Housing Facility in Wadsworth, Ohio. This new, three-story, forty-five unit building sits on 7.7 acres. It features a covered entry and walking paths / exercise stations throughout the site. The site also has a community garden for the residents to enjoy.
The building consists of (35) two-bedroom units, (5) three-bedroom units and (5) one-bedroom units. Of those, (5) units are designed to be accessible and (2) units are designed for the hearing and sight impaired. The (5) one-bedroom units are part of HUD’s 811 program. The project was designed to the Ohio Finance Housing Authority’s criteria Energy Star or higher.
