About The Project
TC Architects is currently working with PIRHL Developers to design a new Low Income Tax Credit Family Housing Development located in Rome Township, Ohio. This new, four building, three story walk-up development will have a total of 50 units on a 4.1 acre site. The buildings will consist of (16) one bedroom, (26) two bedroom and (8) three bedroom units. Of those, (8) units will be designed to be accessible and (2) units will be design for the hearing and sight impaired.
The site will have a walking trail, community garden, water feature and a picnic pavilion for the residents to enjoy. The project will be designed to the Ohio Finance Housing Authority’s criteria and LEED standards.
The development will also have a free standing 17,200 community / day care building that will be operated by the Ironton-Lawrence Community Action Organization. This two story building will have: (12) day-care rooms, community room, offices, conference room, staff break room and a full service kitchen. The exterior will have a covered patio and play area for the children.
