Robert C. Chordar, AIA
President
Professional Experience:
Mr. Chordar has been with TC Architects since 1983. He became a Principal in 1994 and the President in 2005. He has vast experience in all aspects of a project from site selection, zoning assistance, programming and design through construction documents, shop drawings and construction administration. He has experience in a wide variety of new and extensive remodeling of buildings including: housing, building envelope, retail, government, education, libraries, commercial, recreation and medical.
Rebecca C. Yakovic
Associate Partner
Professional Experience:
Ms. Yakovic has been with TC Architects since 2001 and is an Associate Partner. She is involved in all stages of a project from working with Owners during the planning stages, coordination of the completion of the design documents, and performing construction administration. She excels in communicating with Owners, Consultants and Contractors and keeps the project on track. Ms. Yakovic brings strong leadership and a vast knowledge base in all aspects of projects to the TC Architects team. Her broad project design background includes housing, veterinary, medical, education and commercial.
Susan Allen, AIA, ASID, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, EDAC
Vice President
Professional Experience:
Ms. Allen has been with TC Architects since 1998. She became a Partner and Vice President in 2007. Ms. Allen works as both an Architect and Interior Designer. She brings with her a unique background with experience in programming, planning, design, architecture, interior design, and construction administration. She is the Chair of Summit County’s Board of Building Appeals and a member of the City of Green Historic Preservation Committee. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, as well as Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification certified. Ms. Allen has been a guest speaker for Cleveland Clinic Akron General, Akron Zoological Park, Medical Fitness Association, Midwest Veterinary Conference, and North American Veterinary Community. She has vast design experience in medical / health and wellness centers, recreation, veterinary, housing, education and commercial.
