About The Project
TC Architects recently worked with Medina Metropolitan Housing Authority for this renovated, 8,000 sf Emergency Housing Facility. The facility is designed to promote dignity and to serve the vulnerable population within Medina County. The project will have the following areas for men, women and families: drop-in center, day rooms, full-service kitchen, dining area, check-in desk, computer area, offices, conference area, staff break room and lockers, decontamination area, laundry, donation area, pet kennel area, personal belonging storage, showers, group sleeping rooms, separate family sleeping rooms and a children’s play area.
The site also has an outdoor play area, pet area as well as a dedicated smoking area.
