About The Project
TC Architects is working with Plymouth Township on a 6,508 square foot expansion and 4,872 square foot renovation of the existing station and Township Hall. The fire department is changing from a volunteer to a full-time department, so they needed to upgrade to current standards and add bunk rooms.
The project consisted of an expansion of a three-bay, double-deep, drive-through apparatus bays with a separate turn-out gear area, hose and equipment storage areas, SCBA room, decontamination, EMS storage, workshop, kitchen / break room / day room, exercise room, four (4) individual bunk rooms, men’s and women’s lockers, toilet rooms, shower, laundry, company offices, and Chief’s office.
The building is divided into hot, transition and cold zones to protect the personnel in the building.
The Township Hall’s restrooms will be updated to current ADA standards. A new emergency generator and septic system is also included in the project.
