About The Project
TC Architects just completed working with Stark Metropolitan Housing Authority on a comprehensive renovation of Gage Gardens. It is a nine building, fifty-four unit apartment complex in Canton. The renovations to these two- and three-bedroom units included major site, exterior and interior updates.
The sitework included: new concrete walks and patios, new LED site lighting and concrete curbs. The building exterior updates included new roofs, siding, gutters and downspouts. include: new doors and windows, new screen doors, damaged brick and vinyl siding will be repaired or replaced, new asphalt shingle roofs are to be installed along with new gutters and downspouts.
(4) of the two-bedroom units were converted into UFSA conforming units. The interior upgrades for the remaining units included; new vinyl flooring, new interior doors and hardware, new casework, sinks, and accessories for both kitchens and baths. Appliances were replaced with Energy Star rated appliances.
