TC Architects designed Davey Tree’s International Headquarters in Kent, Ohio in 1983 and is excited to continue to work with them on expanding their existing facilities.

Team NEO announced Tuesday that The Davey Tree Expert Co. would be adding approximately 70 jobs, most of them to its Kent headquarters, in the coming years.

The company also will add a 38,000-square-foot addition to its corporate campus located at 1500 N. Mantua St.

Davey decision-makers cited the quality workforce of northeast Ohio as a primary reason for their decision to expand in Kent. Northeast Ohio boasts more than 141,000 workers in the $24 billion professional services/headquarters sector.

Jennifer Lennox, public relations manager for Davey Tree, said the new wing’s construction has been delayed until 2021 as planners alter the floor plan to better accommodate social distancing needs connected with COVID-19. It should open in 2022.
