TC Architects is designing the new Senior High-Rise building in Dayton, Ohio. We are excited to be part of the team!

Redwood Housing Partners is the new owner of a senior, high-rise apartment building near the Oregon District.  Redwood Housing Partners is proposing to construct a ‘sister’ building on the adjacent land at East Fifth and South Keowee Streets.  This building would be a 12-story apartment building, offering 199 affordable apartments for senior citizens.  The Oregon Towers would be the first new high-rise apartment to be built in the Oregon planning district in about 50 years, since the urban-renewal era.

The site plan calls for new landscaping, benches and community garden space, as well as a walkway that stretches across the property.  The site is approximately 3.3 acres and the proposed building will be 137,688 square feet.  The design concept is to create an entry plaza near the intersection of Fifth and Keowee Streets.  The owner is visiting the possibility of creating retail space on the lower level of the building, such as a coffee shop with outdoor seating.
